We recommend arriving the day before Day One where convenient, particularly after a long-haul journey. This is optional. The formal Merci Baku program begins on Day One with your arrival, private transfer and the first dinner. From the moment you arrive in Baku for your journey you are already our guest: if you arrive earlier, regular breakfast or dinner at Merci Baku can be arranged as part of your arrival hospitality, in addition to the six signature caviar breakfasts and six programme dinners. Yes. Private airport greeting and transfer are included regardless of whether you arrive before Day One or on the program date. We simply ask for your confirmed flight details.

Seven days and six nights in Baku. The programme begins with your arrival on Day One and ends on Day Seven with the sixth caviar breakfast, checkout and a private departure transfer. We recommend arriving the day before Day One, particularly on long-haul flights; an optional pre-night at Four Seasons Baku Hotel can be arranged separately.

It can be both. A standard Merci Baku departure is a hosted group experience with a small number of confirmed guests, which is why we keep the atmosphere personal and the dining intimate. Private dates and arrangements can also be built for one party, family or friends — just ask for a Private Journey.

Yes. Families are welcome. Please tell us the ages of children in your reservation request so we can plan appropriately.

A meaningful amount. Selected guided experiences in central Baku are balanced with free time to explore, shop, relax or enjoy the city independently, with our team on hand for suggestions and reservations.

Yes, where possible. Please share dietary restrictions and allergies in your reservation request and we will discuss them with each venue in advance.

No. Formula One ticket arrangements are handled separately and are only included when expressly confirmed in your individual booking.

Merci Baku is prepaid. You send a request, a member of our reservations team personally reviews it, and you receive your personalised Agreement and a formal invoice. Payment is then made in full by bank transfer. Card numbers are never entered on this website.

Yes. Merci Baku welcomes Japanese guests, and Japanese-language assistance can be arranged according to the needs of each departure. If Japanese-speaking support is important for you or your group, please let us know when requesting your journey. We will discuss your needs and confirm the appropriate arrangements with you before payment.

The journey is hosted in English. Japanese-language guest support is available and arranged according to the needs of each departure. The price is per adult guest in US dollars for the full six-night stay. It includes your accommodation, six signature caviar breakfasts at Merci Baku, six hosted dinners, selected daytime tours and experiences in central Baku, and private airport transfers. International flights, visas, travel insurance, personal purchases and anything described as separately arranged — including Formula One tickets — are not included.

Nothing is charged when you send your request — the amount charged today is US$0. After a member of our reservations team has personally reviewed your request, you receive your personalised Agreement and a formal invoice stating your full total, the payment date and the cancellation terms. Full prepayment is then made by bank transfer.

California law requires BlackSea Inc. to deposit 100% of customer travel funds into a business client trust account, and withdrawals may be made only in compliance with California Seller of Travel law. Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation is strongly recommended in addition.

Cancellations are made in writing by email, quoting your booking reference. Measured in whole calendar days before Program Start in Baku time, refunds of the package amount paid are: 100% at 16+ days, 80% at 3–15 days, and 70% at 0–2 days. At or after Program Start, no-show or voluntary abandonment, no refund is due. Separately disclosed and accepted Special Commitment Items may have stricter non-refundable terms. If we cancel a confirmed departure, you choose a full refund or transfer to another available departure.

Every reservation request and enquiry is read by a member of our reservations team, who replies personally — usually within one business day. You can reach them at any time by email, quoting your reference.

No. This website never collects, transmits or stores card numbers or security codes. Payment is arranged directly with BlackSea Inc. against your formal invoice, through a secure banking channel, and every payment is receipted.
