Privacy is part of our hospitality. We never sell guest information.

Guest details are shared only with the hotel, restaurants and transport partners required to deliver your journey, and only to the extent needed.

When you submit a reservation request we collect your name, email address, phone or Telegram number, country of residence, preferred language, travel party details and any dietary, medical or accessibility information you choose to share.

We use your information solely to assess availability, plan and deliver your journey, communicate with you, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We share only what is necessary with hotels, restaurants and transport suppliers involved in your journey.

Merci Baku does not collect or store credit card numbers on this website or in its database. Confirmed reservations are settled by bank transfer against a formal invoice issued by BlackSea Inc.

This website uses HTTPS encryption. No payment-card information is currently collected, transmitted or stored on this website.

We keep reservation and booking records for as long as is needed to deliver your journey, and for seven years afterwards, to meet accounting, tax and California Seller of Travel record-keeping obligations.

We process your information to perform our contract with you and to meet legal obligations, and — for dietary, medical or accessibility details — on the basis of the consent you give when you submit them.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by writing to the contact address on this website. We reply within 30 days, other than for records we are legally required to retain.

This website stores your language preference in your browser's local storage.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics sets cookies to collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, and how you arrived. This information is aggregated and anonymous.

Google Analytics does not receive any personal information you submit through our forms (such as your name, email, phone number, or payment details). Only aggregated usage patterns are collected.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Where a private invitation is offered, your browser stores a random first-party identifier in local storage. It contains no name, email address or other personal detail, and we do not use device fingerprinting.

Against that identifier we record a short, fixed list of interest signals on our own servers — for example that journey pricing, departure dates or journey details were viewed, and that a visit was engaged. These records are kept for 30 days and are then deleted.

This eligibility record is not shared with Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service. If you then request an invitation, your email address is used only to issue and send that invitation.
